Vinted fee calculator

Work out exactly what you keep on a Vinted sale. On Vinted the buyer pays Buyer Protection and shipping, so as a private seller you keep 100% of your asking price — this shows your real profit after item cost and anything you cover.

How Vinted fees work

Vinted is different from most marketplaces: in the majority of its European markets, private sellers pay no selling fee at all. When an item sells, the buyer pays a Buyer Protection fee (a percentage of the item price plus a small fixed amount) and the shipping — both on top of your price. That means your payout equals your asking price, and your only costs are what you paid for the item plus any postage or packaging you choose to cover.

The simple formula

Profit = sale price − item cost − shipping/packaging you cover. If you sell through a Vinted Pro (business) account, a commission may apply; add it in the Pro fee field and the calculator deducts it from your payout.

Why Buyer Protection isn't in your payout

Buyer Protection is charged to the buyer, not the seller, so it does not reduce what you receive. It does raise the total the buyer pays, which is worth keeping in mind when you price competitively against other listings.

Frequently asked questions

Does Vinted charge a seller fee?
In most Vinted markets private sellers pay no selling fee and keep 100% of their asking price. The buyer pays the Buyer Protection fee and shipping. If you sell as a Vinted Pro business, a commission can apply — enter it in the Pro fee field.
What is the Vinted Buyer Protection fee?
Buyer Protection is a fee the buyer pays on top of the item price (a percentage plus a small fixed amount), not the seller. It does not reduce your payout, so this calculator leaves your asking price intact. Exact Buyer Protection rates vary by country — check Vinted for your market.
How do I work out my profit on Vinted?
Take your asking price, subtract what the item cost you and any shipping or packaging you cover. Because there is no seller fee in most markets, profit = sale price − item cost − any shipping/packaging you pay. This calculator does the maths and shows your margin and return on cost.
Is this Vinted fee calculator free?
Yes. It is free, needs no sign-up and runs in your browser. It works for Vinted in euros, pounds and dollars.
