How Vestiaire Collective fees work
Vestiaire Collective's selling fee is a flat percentage within a price band, with a fixed fee for low-value items and a fixed cap for very high-value items, plus a 3% payment-processing fee. The rates differ by market — the calculator auto-applies the right band once you pick your currency and enter the price. These are the official bands (effective 9 June 2026):

Note the euro standard rate (17%) is higher than the 12% charged in GBP, USD and CAD — a genuine per-market difference, which is why the currency selector matters. Buyers separately pay a Buyer Protection fee and shipping, which do not reduce your payout.
This also explains the "up to 25%" figure sometimes quoted for cheap items: it's the flat low-value fixed fee expressed as a percentage of a small sale price (a €12 fee on a €50 item is 24%), not a 25% commission rate.
The formula
Payout = sale price − selling fee (auto-banded) − payment fee. Profit = payout − item cost. The calculator picks the band from your price and market automatically; the override field lets you enter a reduced brand rate or any case the official bands don't cover.
